About Us

Tahanan ng Panginoon is more than an organization—it is a family united by a shared mission. Registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), we operate with integrity, guided by faith and a deep commitment to serving the underprivileged.

We are closely connected with Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon in Manila and The Sword of the Spirit worldwide—charismatic covenant communities united by a common vision: to make Christ’s love visible and to bring hope where it is needed most. Together, we work to create meaningful change, one life at a time.

Tahanan is an organization recognized in many of the churches as part of the pastoral councils. Many of our Tahanan members have become active in the local churches they are part of.

HISTORY OF TAHANAN NG PANGINOON

Tahanan ng Panginoon celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025. We look back with gratitude to its humble beginnings in 1986, when members of Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon (The Joy of the Lord) reached out to families in Manila’s most underserved communities. What started as a simple mission of evangelization and service soon grew into a vibrant movement—offering medical care, educational assistance, and, most importantly, a place of belonging. From the start, Tahanan has been more than a program; it has been a living community of faith among the poor, nurtured by God’s transforming love and strengthened by the enduring partnership of its mother community, Ligaya ng Panginoon. Even today, Ligaya leaders continue to guide Tahanan, while the wider community provides vital support, ensuring that the mission remains rooted in strong Christian leadership and shared discipleship.

TNP40th

Now, forty years on, Tahanan ng Panginoon stands as a network of sixteen thriving sites across Metro Manila, Pampanga, and Cavite, serving over 2,570 members. As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead with renewed vision—to deepen our impact, strengthen partnerships with parishes and Christian organizations, and form future leaders who will carry forward the mission of compassionate service and social transformation. Anchored in faith and community, Tahanan moves into the next chapter committed to building hope, empowering families, and continuing God’s work among those most in need.
